Akanbi Art build brands and connect them to their audiences at key moments in the customer journey through integrated marketing, design and digital experiences with a specialty in technology, financial services, higher education, and lifestyle.
Micah Johnson, PhD
Dr. Micah E. Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy at the University of South Florida. Dr. Johnson is a sociologist who is also trained in criminology and psychiatric epidemiology. His research fuses substance misuse epidemiology and health services research to specifically investigate racial/ethnic and gender disparities in substance use disorder treatment services in the juvenile justice system. Apart from research, Dr. Johnson is an author, performer and monologist who fuses art and activism to advocate for social justice and peace-building.
Vjara is the former President of Friendly Neighbors. Vjara’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Memorial University and a Masters of Science in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. After obtaining her undergraduate degree Vjara remained in Miami, Florida where she became a Dependency Case Manager for the Department of Social Services. She has also worked as a Manager of a Level 4 Community Care facility. There she provided care and supervised training for persons with deficits of self-help skills, impairment in physical coordination and mobility, and severely disruptive and self-injurious behaviors.
